About This Activity
Inspired by the spirit of “Serving the Nation is Serving God”, the Subhvaishali Foundation participated in the Sevankur Bharat – Ek Saptah Desh Ke Naam initiative in Chhattisgarh, Jashpur. As part of this one-week service program, a special health awareness activity was conducted in the villages of the region.
Representatives from Group 18 were assigned to Kunzara village, while the volunteer from Subhvaishali Foundation stayed in a nearby small village named Sritoly. During the visit, toothbrushes were distributed to school children and they were taught the correct method of brushing and maintaining hygiene.
The Anganwadi center was also visited to understand the condition of young children and assess the nutrition levels and malnutrition cases. Discussion was held with the local staff to review the ongoing nutritional programs and support systems available in the village.
